i chose this book because in the summary it was about a dog and it sounded like an adventure on an island which also sounded interesting. i like adventures. the island part sounded cool. on the cover the dog was a Yorkshire terrier and i love that kind of dog.
I love dogs to but did you really like the summary when it said Rat, Bait? And why did you really want this book? Was it your first choice for second round? Did you want to know what really happened or why?
I choose this book because I like dogs. I also choose this book because I thought reading the back was a great idea! So I read the back and I was interested to know why or when or how did the dog get in a lobster trap? The front said the tale of a island dog and I thought I want to read this book because what happens to the dog after the lobster trap? What happens before the lobster trap? Does he have a family? On the back it says Rat and Bait and I am thinking why? What does it mean? Why does it say this? So this is why I was interested in this book.
I just really wanted to know how he would end up after the lobster trap or why and how when? It was a GREAT summary and I really got intrested about this book and the poor little harmless dog and did he have a owner mother?

I thought tangi was obvisoly a dogs name rat bait I wanted to know what it had to do with rat and bait was he bait to a shark was he really a rat I WANT TO KNOW THESE THINGS?
I chose this book becuase when I read the back of the book I thought it was really cool. When Tango got trapped in the lobster trap it was scary for me because I thought Tango will die but Tango didn't!And when I read the back of the book and when Tango was on the island It was happy he was on shore. The title picture of the book looked really interesting to me and when I read the back of the book. I wonder what will happen to the owner of Tango because Tango is really precious to the owner.

I agree with you snoopy16 because the back got scary when it got to the part Tango got trapped but I think that part was interesting because it left a mystery to me. I actually I liked the whole back because it leaves you thinking about a lot of questions in your mind.

The part about being an island dog(in title) interested me the most because it sounded exciting and adventures. I'm into all kinds of genres and adventures are one of my favorite because there always exciting. The lobster trap part you were talking about sounds interesting, too. What was Tango talking about with lost at sea that probably has to do with lobster trap. That sounds interesting, too. All of the summary sounds interesting!

I chose this book because my favorite animal is a dog and I think the back of the book looked vary interesting because it said "Tango had tried to wiggle out of the lobster trap's webbing" and "He couldn't be dead. He was in to much pain.When two warm human hands untangled his limbs" I think that is vary interesting because it makes you wounder, what is going to happen with Tango? I also picked this book because two of my friends said it was vary good.I also really like sad story.
